| Earlier this week, the net exploded with the discovery that Microsoft altered an image for use in Poland, removing an African-American gentleman from the photo and replacing him with someone presumably more, well, Polish. |
|
|
Immediately, all of us here at InstantFervor began wondering “Why Poland? Could there be more custom images specifically tailored for other countries that have yet to be exposed?” We put our special team of investigators to task and, by golly, they found more altered images. |
| Check out these other images apparently generated for specific countries around the globe: |
Bavaria
|
India
|
Saudi Arabia
|
Somalia
|
Transylvania
|
| You really have to take your hats off to Microsoft’s marketing wiz-kids. They really take “diversity” to heart! |

Fabulous. I never did trust the people at MS.
Quite humorous my good man, and a damn fine display of photoshop skills! (although the pirates look a bit fake…but hey…it’s not like there’s an abundance of source material….they ARE pirates after all)
Is this because Microsoft wouldn’t hire you back in 1997? I like the buttons ‘Open New Call Center’, ‘Beer me’
Nice work
somalia*
and Transylvania isn’t a country
otther than that, well done.
Thanks! I’m not a 100% sure but it seems that “Somali” and “Somalia” can be used interchangably. None the less, I like “Somalia” better (which is what I originally intended), so I’ve updated the post. And despite the technicality, “Transylvania” is much funnier then “Romania”.
Cheers and thank you for the comment!
Way to go Robula!
